The unique “ Kaylaka ” park, located in immediate vicinity to Pleven city, provides many possibilities for walks, recreation and entertainment. Its area comprises 10 000 decares of the picturesque canyon of Tuchenitsa river. “ Kay-laka ” park enchants with its abundant and diverse flora and fauna. Here can be seen plants that are unique for Bulgaria and Balkan peninsula, and most of the birds and mammals are included in the Red List. Since 1969 the park  is protected nature location.  The park offers many entertainment activities – there are dams, lake with boats and water paddle boats,  children playgrounds,  tennis courts, zoo section, several hotels,  public houses and  one of the  kind for Bulgaria restaurant in natural cave.
