Founded in 1958 on the initiative of artists working in the city as a branch of the Historical Museum – Pleven, the art gallery today houses more than 1,200 works – the largest collection in the National Art Museum and of great importance to the great Bulgarian artist Iliya Beshkov (1901- 1958). The Iliya Beshkov Gallery, which covers an area of ​​over 2,500 square meters, is a center of established art forums: National Biennial of Small Forms in Fine Art – Pleven, Fodar International Photo Biennial, Allianz Bulgaria National Competition, Night in the gallery ”,“ International Plein air “Kaylaka”; art salons, chamber concerts, recitals, conferences, and symposia.

Winter working hours: (from 04 November) 09:00 – 17:00 with visitors

Summer working hours: 10:00 – 18:00
