Representation of books – Aksiniya Dzhurova and Valeri Stefanov

On 08.10.2021 (Friday), 5.30 p.m., in Art Gallery Donation “Svetlin Rusev Collection” – a branch of “Iliya Beshkov” Art Gallery, the series “Disappearing memory. Meetings along the way” Volumes I-VII, with author Prof. Aksiniya Dzhurova and “Collecting. Passion and Value”, with author Prof. Valeri Stefanov will be presented.
Prof. Dzhurova’s series “Disappearing Memory. Meetings along the way” contains memories of meetings and events that have marked her journey.
The first three volumes mainly include the eyes of the “other” – impressions of foreigners who have visited our country, as well as Bulgarians who have lived and settled down abroad.
In volumes IV – VII are the meetings and conversations with over 140 Bulgarian artists of the generation between the two world wars until today.
The project “Disappearing memory. Meetings along the way” Volume I-VII is the work of the publishing house “Classics and Style” Ltd., Sofia 2018-2020 and is realized with the support of Georgi and Vanya Zabchevi, Elena and Ivan Duychevi Foundation, “Beehive” Foundation – Mr. Ivan Sariev.
The work on the project started in 2012 and was carried out with the assistance of Silviya Kavdanska, Vanya Zabcheva, Nikifor Haralampiev and its participants, a total of about 200 personalities. The graphic design is the work of Tahsin Ahmed and Radoslav Georgievski.
