Vasil Petrov and Zornitsa Ilarionova on tour with a second version of “SymphoNY way”

The concert will take place on August, 10, at 8.30 p.m., in the Regional History Museum – Pleven.
Vasil Petrov started a summer tour in June with an updated repertoire and the second part of the impressive program “SymphoNY way” with Vratsa Philharmonic. In the project, the great Bulgarian vocalist performs interpretations of some of his favorite world-famous songs, pop hits, themes from famous movies, French classics, combined with songs from his new album “LOVE SONGS Vol.1”, which was announced on April 30 for his birthday.
Music by John Williams, Charlie Chaplin, the hits of the Beatles, Sting, Frank Sinatra, Jobim, Frankie Valley, Francis Lay, Duke Ellington, Gershwin and other authors will be performed in large-scale orchestrations by the Vratsa Philharmonic with conductor Hristo Pavlov. The jazz line is held by Yordan Tonovski trio, and a special guest soloist of Vasil Petrov is the brilliant violinist and winner of a number of world awards – Zornitsa Ilarionova.

The program of “SymphoNY way” includes: the theme The Girl from Ipanema, pop classics – Killing me softly, Can`t take my eyes of off you, Fragile, Something, Yesterday, Michelle, film themes – Schindler’s List, Smile, Feelings , Love story (Where Do I begin), the oriental jazz standard Caravan, the jazz ballad The Shadow of your smile, the theme from the musical “Show Boat” – Ol`man river, the notorious My Way, Strangers in the night, New York, N.Y., classic themes by French composers and songs from the new album “LOVE SONG Vol.1”.
The concert will be held in full compliance with the regulations for distance and entrance of the Ministry of Health.
